Surprise Departure

At the very end of our visit to Patagonia, soon after embarking on our long drive to the airport at Punta Arenas, our car came to the top of a mountain pass overlooking the Rio Serano. There we were surprised with unexpected warm, soft light coloring the low cloud in the valley below and reflecting its warmth in the river.
