Rocky Shoreline I
Lago Pehoe's granite shoreline as well as Los Cuernos ("the horns") rising majestically behind the lake, were shaped millions of years ago by the forces of glacial ice. As the glaciers retreated, they eroded the underlying rock, leaving the towers we see today, as well as the silt-laden milky-coloured lakes and their surrounding rocky shorelines.
